Synopsis
A sexually agnostic podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discovering if their relationship can survive their wildly different lives and blended families.. Originally titled “Shiksa,” which is also the last word spoken in the first episode.. I loved this one so much! Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has a lot of strengths – + I FELT the chemistry between the leads. It felt natural and harmonious. They played the characters so well! + The dialogue and relationships between the characters felt funny, witty, and touching in the best way possible. + In a world that promotes representation, this is the first time I’ve seen a Jewish man interested in love. I think he displayed the beautiful and inclusive sides of religion without putting it on a pedestal in any way. Excellent writing, great cast, and incredible chemistry made this a watch for me, followed by a quick search for “Will there be a season 2?” I loved it!
